Coach Blake is a semi-professional beach volleyball athlete and experienced coach. He is certified by the positive coaching alliance which is a national nonprofit organization working to unlock the life changing power of sports for all kids. His passion for the game and teaching shines through in every session. With his award-winning coaching style, Blake fosters both fun and development for young athletes.

I have known Blake for the last 4 years as a colleague on the Hunter College Men’s Volleyball coaching staff as well as the coaching staff at Manhattan Youth and Yorkville Youth Athletic Association. His communication and leadership skills have helped build the volleyball communities in NYC from youth programs to collegiate levels. He has been awarded “Coaching Staff of the Year” with Hunter College two years in a row in NYC. I have noticed our youth programs have grown double while Blake was with our staff. His patience, empathy, attention to detail and ability to adjust lesson plans on the fly have helped to create a better product for our communities. I highly recommend Blake as a professional and a friend to fulfill your needs and better the community he is a part of.
